What Australia-wide shipping methods are available?
We offer two shipping methods.
Standard Postage & Handling
Standard Postage & Handling: 2 business days (Metropolitan WA).
Standard Postage & Handling: 2 – 4 business days (Regional WA).
Standard Postage & Handling: 3 – 6 business days (Interstate).
Express Postage & Handling
Express Postage & Handling: 1 – 2 business days (Metropolitan WA).
Express Postage & Handling: 2 – 6 business days (Regional WA).
Express Postage & Handling: 1 – 3 business days (Interstate).
Note: Shipping times are an estimate only, and Sciencebook is not responsible for delays experienced by the carrier in transit.
Our goal is always to get your order into your hands as quickly as possible! This means that orders that contain multiple products may be shipped separately.
What are the shipping charges?
Standard Postage & Handling: $10 for orders under $120.
Standard Postage & Handling: Free for orders over $120. Use the code FREESHIP at checkout. This must be entered manually at the checkout.
Express Postage & Handling: $15 flat rate on all orders.
How long will it take for my order to be processed?
Online orders placed on Monday – Friday are processed and dispatched within 1-2 business days.
Online orders placed on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays are processed and dispatched on the following business day.
Processing times may be longer than usual during the Back to School Season and Summer with Sciencebook.
Where do you ship from?
All orders are dispatched from our Perth Warehouse.
What if I entered my address or information incorrectly?
Contact hello@sciencebook.com.au as soon as possible.
We may be able to update your order if it has not already been processed. We will do what we can to help you out.
Are my items shipped carbon neural?
Our delivery partner ships all parcels carbon neutral.
How do I dispose of the packaging used in my Sciencebook order?
If your item was shipped in a paper envelope: The envelope and any cardboard used to protect it can be placed in the recycling bin.
If your item was shipped in a satchel: These satchels are biodegradable. Firstly, remove the seals and the labels, then pop into your home (or commercial) compost.
If your item was shipped in a padded bubble insert: These mailers are biodegradable. For a commercial compost, remove the seals and the labels, then pop into the compost. These can also be placed into a home compost – remove the seals and labels. Then we suggest taking the three layers of packaging film apart to speed up the breakdown process.
